EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: Shawnee Development Council, Inc. is now accepting applications for the following Economic Development Loan Officer/Case Manager. Full time employment is available for an aggressive self-starter in a challenging position. Responsibilities include oversight and coordination of the Economic Development Loan Program, including publicity and marketing of the program for the purpose of generating jobs for low-income people, working with local lenders and clients to process loans, monitoring payment and hiring schedules, and meeting necessary reporting requirements to funding sources. Case management duties to include direct client services to Trade Act certified customers including, but not limited to Individual Service Strategy development, monthly monitoring of client progress, timely data entry into tracking system, verification of service eligibility and proper documentation of customer expenses and support services. May also be required to negotiate and monitor on-the-job training contracts. Good computer skills necessary. Grant writing experience highly desirable. Some overnight travel is required. Bachelor's degree preferred or 5 years equivalent experience.
