St. Mary's Park Pavilion - 1876

The St. Mary's Park is located on 28th St. between Magnolia Dr. and Park Place West.  Built as Cairo's memorial to the nation's centennial, this pavilion was the site of President Roosevelt's address during his visit to Cairo in 1907.  The pavilion was also the center for numerous Victorian celebrations: horse races, concerts, Independence Day celebrations, and is today the focal point for Cairo festivities.
